The EuroGEO workshop 2022 took place on 7-9 December 2022 in Athens, Greece, creating a platform for European members of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) to convene and collaborate. During the three-day annual workshop, European stakeholders actively contributing to EuroGEO converged to deliberate on the future trajectory of the initiative.

The workshop sought to identify synergies across projects, foster networking opportunities, explore collaborative approaches under a nexus framework, enhance collaboration among regional GEOs and establish robust regional governance mechanisms, expedite operationalisation in line with end-users' requirements, and reflect on global GEO trends. B-Cubed's coordinator, Quentin Groom, had the privilege to personally introduce the project and its objectives to the workshop’s participants.
